Tutzing is the starting point of a whole range of hiking routes with a total of 230 route kilometers. For example, there are hiking trails X1 to X9 around Tutzing in an area that includes Bernried, Andechs and Maising with its small lake. The directions, each with a small map, are available free of charge at the guest information. On field paths, along lakeshores, through gorges, meadows and forests, you will be offered unique natural and cultural experiences. What begins as a quiet forest trail often unexpectedly offers a dreamlike view after the next bend. The paths are passable in every season and by the change of nature always in new garb. The local marked hiking trails with different demands between 5 and 15 km in length lead through the village, over the Johannishügel, along the lake promenades or over the IIkahöhe and the adjacent Deixlfurter Weiher.
