Museum ship Tutzing

The Museumsschiff-Verein Tutzing e.V. restores and maintains the former passenger ship Tutzing as a technical monument, on which the association offers a cultural program during the summer months, including concerts and cabaret evenings.

The gastronomy of the Tutzing welcomes its guests with fresh bistro dishes, coffee and cake and a view over the lake.
The ship can also be used for weddings and other private public or corporate events.

In 2006, the association was awarded the second Tassilo Main Prize by the Süddeutsche Zeitung. The press said: “Readings and cabaret on a technical monument such as the museum ship Tutzing,….. This convinced the seven-member SZ jury as well as the general director of the Deutsches Museum Wolfgang M. Heckl.”
