Founded in 1909, the traditional club on Lake Starnberg offers many areas of sailing and has been a sports-oriented yacht club for 113 years, intensively promoting youth and top-level sports, such as 8 qualifications for the Olympic Games, German Champion of Sailing Clubs 2015 – 2016, winner Sailing Champions League 2016, founding member of the German Sailing League as well as multiple organizer of World, European and German Championships in Olympic and international sailing classes. It offers its members a dignified ambience and a great sailing area at one of the most beautiful parts of Lake Starnberg.
The casino at DTYC is also available to non-sailors.
