We in the district of Starnberg are proud of the award “Most Bicycle-Friendly District in Bavaria”, which was given to us in 2013 by the Bavarian Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs. Ministry of the Interior and the Working Group of Bicycle-Friendly Municipalities (AGFK) was presented. While the bike trails with tour lengths between 70 and 195 km are likely to challenge even demanding athletes, the regional bike trails with lengths of 15 to 50 km, on the other hand, offer nice day tours for families.

The entrepreneur VELO Bavaria organizes wishful children’s birthday parties or company outings around Lake Starnberg by bike and rents out the bikes at the same time. Upon request, he will deliver the bikes to your desired location for a fee.
In Tutzing you can rent any type of bike and get help in the workshop. At Fahrrad Dillitzer you will receive expert all-round service if the bike you brought with you is no longer roadworthy. Bike helmets, water bottles and bike locks are also available here.
